Copyright & Intellectual Property
Last updated: 7 June 2026
This page explains the copyright and other intellectual property rights in Tradeflux (the “Service”), which is operated by Mercury Road Equipment Pty Ltd (ABN 36 614 422 187) (“we”, “us” or “our”). It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; if there’s any conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. Copyright in the Service
© 2026 Mercury Road Equipment Pty Ltd. All rights reserved. The Service — including its software, source code, design, user interface, text, graphics, layout, and the look and feel — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and other intellectual property laws in Australia and overseas. Except for the limited right to use the Service set out in our Terms, no rights are granted to you.
2. Trade marks and branding
“Tradeflux”, the Tradeflux name, logo and any associated brand elements are trade marks of Mercury Road Equipment Pty Ltd, whether registered or unregistered. You must not use them — including in a business name, product name, domain name, logo or social media handle — without our prior written permission. Other product, company and service names that appear on the Service may be the trade marks of their respective owners.
3. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the information you put into Tradeflux — your business details, your clients’ details, invoice content and the like (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited licence we need to host, process and transmit Your Content so we can provide the Service, including sending it to the third-party processors described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t claim ownership of Your Content, and we don’t sell it. This mirrors the “Your content and your responsibility” section of our Terms of Service.
4. What you may do
While these terms are in force, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Service for your own business invoicing, in accordance with our Terms of Service. The PDF invoices and documents you generate are Your Content — you’re free to use, send and keep them.
5. What you may not do
Except to the extent the law expressly permits, you must not:
- copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works from the Service or any part of it;
- distribute, sell, licence, rent, lease or otherwise commercialise the Service or our content;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, or attempt to derive its source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
- remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notice; or
- scrape, frame, mirror or systematically extract content from the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
6. Open-source and third-party software
The Service is built with, and depends on, third-party and open-source software and services — including frameworks and libraries used to build the app, and the processors that power its features (such as ElevenLabs, Google, the Australian Business Register, Stripe and our email and hosting providers). Those components remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences and terms, which continue to apply. Nothing here grants you any rights in that third-party software beyond what their licences allow.
7. Apple and the App Store
Where you download Tradeflux from the Apple App Store, “Apple”, “App Store” and related marks are trade marks of Apple Inc. Apple is not a party to our agreement with you, is not responsible for the Service, and provides no warranty for it. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.
8. Reporting copyright infringement
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content on or made available through the Service infringes your copyright, email us at vlad@dfortix.ai with the subject “Copyright complaint” and include:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, and where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Service;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
We’ll review valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question. We may also pass your notice on to the person who provided the material.
9. Changes to this page
We may update this page from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
